NEW DELHI – On Friday, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the strength of the U.S.-India relationship and deep partnership between the two countries in technology and innovation. The two discussed the U.S.-India CEO Forum and U.S.-India Commercial Dialogue meetings that the Secretary co-chair alongside Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal. They also discussed the new Strategic Trade Dialogue and U.S.-India Memorandum of Understanding on Semiconductor Supply Chain and Innovation Partnership that were announced during the Secretary’s visit. The Secretary expressed her gratitude for India’s strong partnership to making IPEF a global model of economic partnership that delivers concrete economic benefits.
