Marion M. Walsh is a partner with the firm and an experienced attorney, leads our growing and vibrant special education practice. Marion has worked in education law for over 25 years and has been an advocate for children in multiple capacities. Few attorneys bring the depth and breadth of her experience to this practice. She particularly works in assisting students with complex mental health challenges in locating an appropriate school placement and services and transition to college and independence. Marion represents parents in advocacy, special education impartial hearings, State Review Officer appeals and Federal Court appeals. Marion also represents college students and their parents in higher education advocacy and helps adults with mental health conditions and their families navigate the complex bureaucracy to obtain the support needed.

Arshi Pal’s practice centers on special education matters. Arshi passionately advocates for students with disabilities to help them obtain the appropriate supports and services for their unique needs. Arshi participates in CSE meetings to collaborate with school officials to ensure students are receiving programming and services tailored to help them make meaningful progress. However, when the collaborative approach is insufficient to obtain for the student the support they require, Arshi zealously represents students and their families in special education impartial hearings and then as needed, State Review Officer appeals and Federal Court appeals. Arshi also advocates for young adults and families to obtain OPWDD eligibility and benefits.
