Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko. During the meeting, Secretary Raimondo emphasized the Biden-Harris Administration’s ongoing support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s continued unjust aggression. The two also discussed the Department of Commerce’s engagement with U.S. private sector leaders, including through events like the U.S.-Ukraine Partnership Forum held in April this year, and on Ukraine’s immediate energy sector needs and longer-term reconstruction plans.
